Never will I tire of this view when I fly into JFK and make my way back into my beloved city. 

It finally happened. I dropped my phone just so and when I picked it up the front was now a lovely albeit totally unfunctional (probably not a word) shattered glass pattern. So sad. In the interest of not boring you to tears with my own tech drama, I have been emailing myself iphone photos for three days. (Don't ask) On the bright side I have gotten to relive the last year in photos and a pretty good year it's been. So I thought I would share some of my favs. In no particular order nor will this collection probably make any sense. A couple weeks ago I was on the mad hunt for some stuff for the Rabbit Hole, namely some antlers, frames and bell jars. SO I decided to head over to Brooklyn to the Flea and see what I could find. Sadly, no score. Well at least not on the things on my list. I did however pick up a beautiful new vintage camera. 40's era with gorgeous art deco gold pattern on the front. She fits nicely into the family. From there I headed over to the Antiques Garage in midtown hoping for better luck. Alas it was not meant to be. Apparently it was all photo all the time for me that day. I came across this box of vintage glass negatives. Gorgeous. In mint condition from France and Belgium from the early part of the 19th century. SCORE! I could have bought the whole box but that would have been selfish. So at $4 each I brought home 2. Not sure what or how I will display them so for now they are mine to enjoy. It's the simple pleasures sometimes. I think it would be cool to print them stacked. Ma...

I have been doing  a lot of running lately as I am in training for another half marathon. Long story as I am not actually registered to run it, but I am doing it by proxy! Anyhow it's keeping me on the road. It's been a touch breezy in the city so I have been running the Park (as in Central Park for those of you outside NYC, and no that is not meant to sound snobby) a lot, as it is a little more protected. I usually have my phone with me but of course the one night I don't take it with me, the view beyond the reservoir of the skyline was STUNNING! I am still kicking myself for missing that photo op. So, a few days later I decided to stop midrun and snap this beauty. The views here really NEVER get old. If I weren't such a Type A runner I would probably have a lot more pics to share. I am working on it. For now, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
