Tea Cups and Milk Glass

I am feeling quite nostalgic today. I don't know if it is from having a few days to myself in the big city, or going to the flea today and seeing tea cups and milk glass which totally reminded me of my grandma or any number of unconscious reasons. None the less I scrolled through the family photos I have stored on my computer and felt a pull to my roots. Not only do I love old photos, but when they are of my own flesh and blood, it's a whole new game altogether. I see history, I see family, I see love.

The Met

Hit the Met last Wednesday after a whirlwind few days. I am trying to replenish my creative reserves and I couldn't be in a better location for that. It was quite a full day

I promise to be more verbose once I get my Internet hooked up on Wednesday. For now, images will have to do.

Random Snippets

Ok after being in FL with friends and fam for the weekend I came back to New York and jumped in with both feet. Got my bed ordered, settled into my new little chateau, "the Rabbit Hole" and started socializing. So many friends came in from Ca and I made a few new friends along the way. I hit a museum or two, took a harbor cruise and did my best to soak up the city. I even had a couple small jobs. I think I am going to like it here.

Gosh I have been busy. Between moving into my new place, going home for my mom’s 60th birthday bash, buying a bed and dishes, meeting with friends in from out of town and working on my resume I have had no time for blogging. Well that and I do not have internet set up at my place yet and I think Starbucks is getting sick of my mug. For a girl who really doesn’t even drink coffee, I am quite the regular. So anyway quick recap in photos of the last few weeks.

Pics from the big bash. SOme of my favorite people in the world.
