Revisions

The first batch of cards have been sent so I guess I can post the ones that didn't make the cut. I found a new printing company to use and they had so many great cards it was hard to choose one. So thanks to Tiny Prints (and Deidre for turning me on to them) for all the cute ideas. Here are some of the ones I toyed with...... My friend Laurel designed this one for me too which i thought was awesome with the polaroid treatment. Will post the final card soon. :) Merry Christmas all!!

I love my new iPhone. Well 3 months new anyway. The Apps are ridiculous. Check out the Diptic App. I love these things in normal photo and now there is an easy app to just put them together in a snap. Swoon....

We came, we saw, we ran. It was cold and wet but really fun. Butch, Ryan and I ran the Kaiwah Half Marathon this past weekend. It was a weekend filled with family fun and laughs. Can't wait for the next one. The Cheerleaders!! The Finishers!!! The Cousin Contingent!!!

New York at Christmas. Could anything be sweeter? You know how I love a good shop window and let me tell you this city goes ALL out for the holidays. Oh and I do believe Henri Bendel is my new favorite place in New York. Le Sigh

Had my first snow when I went upstate for Thanksgiving. It was a beautiful little dusting.

Wow it's been a busy few weeks. Since my last post I have gone to Ca for work, been buried under a mountain of post, gone to Corning/Painted Post for Turkey day and had visitors galore. Oh and I shot my Christmas card yesterday. That always takes time for research and such. This year due to no time to look and no extra money to buy a new outfit, I decided to revisit the 60's. I had a few dresses in my back pocket so I thought why not. It's my Christmas card I can do what I want. :) I have a rough edit and my friend Laurel is working on a lay out for me. So in the meantime I thought I would revisit some Christmas cards past. It's been such a fun project and I love looking back at all the shots. I have been so busy blogging about my new city I haven't really been reporting on my running progress. I am finally back in the groove. I am signed up for the Kiawah Half Marathon with my Uncle Butch and Cousin Ryan. Started training a few weeks ago in my beloved new city and it has been a great way to see the city and take in all it's sites. I love running south in Hudson River Park toward the Statue of Liberty. She is a beautiful site to behold. I am quite excited for the NYC Marathon this weekend, even though I am not running it, I will be out there cheering those runners on!! I know how important that encouragement is. In the meantime I am plodding along on my own training and this weekend while I was in Upstate seeing family I got to run in Corning. Let me tell you to get 7 miles in Corning you have to run around quite a bit. It was quite chilly and it is going to be a test of my perseverance to run in these winters.
