Bastille Day

Loved this event invite that unfortunately I did not get to attend. I did however go to a super fun Petanque tournament in Tribeca which I will upload next, once I find that darn CF card. :) It's been a busy few weeks. You DO know Lady Liberty has a twin in Paris right? She is a beauty as well but I am a tad partial to our girl.

Photog Creativity

Saw this on Pinterest and I didn't feel that pinning it was quite enough. I need to be reminded of these things daily so I don't let the monotony of every day life bog me down. Can you relate? And as a creative, can you pick one to do today? From DivasandDreams.com

Sneak Peak

Just a couple screen caps of a new project I am working on with an on fire, inspirational, fantastic young woman. Her name is Lindsey and I am so blessed to have met her. I can't wait to see what our friendship produces as I feel an electricity in the air. In the meantime, just look at that face. Does this girl look special or what?

Salt

I recently stumbled upon a darling little shop in Chelsea Market that sells salts, vinegars  and oils in scrumptious flavors such as grapefruit, black truffle and fig. I mean really? I have a whole post about it that will soon be on AskMissA so all that to say this is not that post. All that to say I was very inspired by the Salts and did a little shoot with them. I also had some beautiful little blue Araucana eggs that I wanted to shoot as well. And what goes better than eggs with a little sprinkle of salt? Uh, Nothing. Ok, well maybe there are a few things but this is not that post.

The 2011 Mermaid Parade in Coney Island

I am not sure words will suffice so I think I will just post the pics. It was quite an adventure and I am just grateful that my friend Sarah is still my friend. Not sure she knew what she was getting herself into.

Lincoln Center

I went to a performance at the Juillard School a few weeks ago and upon my exit past the fountain at Lincoln Center, I was mesmerized by the dance of water. I think I shot for another 20-30 minutes, yes even in my heels, but it was so beautiful and the sound the fountain makes is so lovely and serene. I want to make it a regular adventure.
