Blizzard Fun

Can't let a snow drift go to waste!! :)

Holiday Blizzard 2010

I have had my First Blizzard in NYC. It started snowing as we came out of church yesterday and didn't quit til this morning. It was fantastic!! I still can't believe how much it was snowing. We had tickets to see the Rockettes so we bundled up and hit the subway to make our show and boy am I glad we did! The show was amazing. Ain't no blizzard gonna keep us down. :)

Muffins

These were shots I found of my pumpkin muffins. I love making these in the fall/winter. They make the house smell sooo good. Thank you Trader Joe's.

Christmas in Wonderland

The rents arrived last night. Alfred was all ready for them with their potion and we hit the ground running. We got up and going this morning and checked alot off our list. First we hit the Columbus Circle Holiday market. Don't they look like they live here? From there we walked Central Park South to have lunch at the Plaza Food Hall. It was heavenly. WHile we waited for a table, we saw Santa!! I got a shot with his sleigh before we ate but we waited til after lunch to get a picture with Santa. I am sure he didn't appreciate that at all when I sat on his lap :) Santa pic to come after we scan it in. It actually turned out really cute with all three of us. Stay tuned. From there we roamed 5th Avenue and looked at all the beautiful Windows. Gosh I love Store Windows.

HOliday Cheer from Wonderland

I am getting closer and closer to being all settled in to the Rabbit Hole. The rents built a table/art piece that will eventually hang on the wall, with the plan to pull it down as needed for meals. Just have to finish one chair which I left until after the Christmas card shoot, because the original color and style actually worked with the inspiration this year. But now I can recover it and do the stencil on the table and it will be time to rock and roll. Who wants to come to dinner? :) And here are some images of the Rabbit Hole all gussied up for the holidays. It is so festive in here. I may keep this stuff up all year.

NYC MArathon 2010

How many of you know I love running? Yeah that's a given. How many of you know I love running so much that I will go watch other people run. I know, I didn't either. But when in Rome, or New York if you will, do as the Romans do. And let me tell you, LOTS of people go out and watch other people run the NY Marathon. It is quite an event and since I hope to do it myself someday i thought I should go check it out. I laughed, I cried and I got seriously inspired. Bring It NY. The Costumes...... The Crowd... The Ones who made it look easy with 1/2 a mile to go.... And the ones who are the true definition of Inspiration.......

I heard that!

Never refuse an invitation; never resist the unfamiliar; never fail to be polite; never over stay your welcome. Keep your mind open and suck in the experience. And if it hurts then it was probably worth it.

Henri Bendel

I am in Love. It happened quite suddenly although I met him years ago. We rekindled our affair on Fashion's night out a few months back and now it's official, I am head over heels. :) His name is Henri and I love everything about him. I want to be a Bendel Girl for the rest of my life. All illustrations by Izak Zenou who does Incredibly beautiful work. Oh to be THAT talented....swoon.
